I’m Brigitte, people call me Britt most of the time, and I am a professional photographer, as I graduated as Bachelor of Art on Photography and Audio Visual Design in 1993. Ever since, I photograph family’s, baby’s, children and happy couples. I believe everybody is beautiful and my job is to frame their joy and happiness. That is why the lifestyle photography fits me like a glove. I am just curious what I am about to see and how we can have some fun during the photoshoot.
What’s the most important lesson you learned as a photographer?
Keep your focus and wait. There is always something happening in front of the camera. You don’t know what, you don’t know when. But there will be something happening and I really want to capture that moment. So, my most important lesson ever is to focus and be patience.
My advice to reduce stress? Check, double check and even triple check your equipment before your shoot!
How do you manage stress?
My approach on stressful jobs and situations is to be curious on wait and see what will happen. I used to be nervous, but over the years I tried to change that feeling into curiosity and that worked out for me. My advice to reduce stress? Check, double check and even triple check your equipment before your shoot.
Where will you be in five years?
A happy photographer and person capturing beautiful moments. I hope that my photos contain so much emotion that people will smile or cry when they look at it. I am truly convinced that you feel a good portrait photo. Not only see it.
